This course is for the beginners and those wishing to build on the skills that they learnt during the Start Yachting course or the complete beginner. It is aimed at people who would like to become active crew rather than just passengers. It is possible to start in the evening to give the new crew a chance to settle in and find their way around the boat before setting sail the next day. The instructor will give a full safety briefing before the first passage but virtually all the course is hands on. You are the crew and without you the boat won´t be going anywhere!.

One pleasure of this course is the way that the total strangers start working together,
making their yacht sail efficiently and look smart. By the end of the course
you should be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy
and assist in daily routines on board. You should also have visited some
interesting places and had an enjoyable holiday.
